Hi,
My name is Rosalie and I'm a 3rd Year student at Manchester University. The sciences have always given me a certain rush as it is trying to solve the puzzle of what stuff is and how it interacts with itself. Few things are comparable to that light-bulb feeling when something clicks and the picture of the puzzle becomes clearer. This I hope to pass on in tutorials. As someone who has done IGCSE's and IB, I have had to study and sit for a lot of exams. I hope to provide fundam...

The sciences have always given me a certain rush as it is trying to solve the puzzle of what stuff is and how it interacts with itself. Few things are comparable to that light-bulb feeling when something clicks and the picture of the puzzle becomes clearer. This I hope to pass on in tutorials. Tutorials will be tailored to your needs. If it is specific concepts you don't understand like "Le Chatelier's Principle" then I will happily go through them. I've found that guiding students towards the answer, rather than just telling them how to get there, helps to remember the concept better and instil confidence. I also like to compare concepts to more intuitive, real-life examples. This would also help to approach more unusual questions in exams.
I would highly stress that example questions be done as frequently as possible (especially mathematical ones). Not just to consolidate knowledge but also to make all the slip ups and mistakes that one could make before going into the exam.
