I love Medicine and it meant everything to me to get in. After having gone through the somewhat daunting application process, I have a much greater understanding and would love to provide a helping hand to any other prospective medical students in any way that I can, whether helping with UCAT, BMAT or personal statements! When I did the UKCAT and BMAT in 2017, I achieved scores of 3050 (762.5 average) and 6.4, 5.9, 3A in the respective tests - allowing me to gain interviews from all of the medical schools I applied to.

We'll start by ensuring what topics you would like to focus on (what you are most uncomfortable with) and build up from the basics! During my online lessons, we will find out what you might already know and expand our knowledge from there. From my experience, the most important thing to do in GCSEs and A-Levels (especially in science subjects) is practice questions, so after we have mastered the basics at the end of the session we will go through a few past paper questions to make sure you can apply your knowledge! When I was doing my exams, after I had covered the basic knowledge, my revision strategy focussed heavily on past papers as these science exams tend to be quite formulaic and there are certain marking points that you will only learn to hit having done a lot of past questions and seen a lot of mark schemes. Practice definitely makes perfect!
