I have previous experience in helping my peers study, as well as assisting those younger than me. Ensuring a session is engaging and inspiring is key to motivating and encouraging students, and motivated, supported students are the ones who do well while enjoying themselves.

I also believe in the importance of relaxation; catharsis can be more beneficial than studying, especially when stressed. In this way, sessions are relaxed and conducted in a low pressure environment to promote calmness in the face of difficulty!

About my sessions

Support and constructive criticism is a student's best friend (as well as a good night's sleep!) and these are two things I believe strongly in promoting. Sessions are student-led, focusing on what the student needs and wants to go over, with a central focus on a particular learning criteria. Questions are also absolutely essential to learning - no question is silly or stupid, if they were I'd have asked a fair few myself! Producing effective and stimulating sessions is important...

Producing effective and stimulating sessions is important too, and in the initial free meeting, I would like to establish the ways you learn best and tailor sessions to this!

Any questions at all, ask away and I look forward to working with you!
