About me

I chose to study Chemical Engineering at university due to my so-far life-long love for chemistry and interest in the practicality and usefulness of maths and physics. My course allows me to continue expanding on my knowledge of these subject areas as well as learning to apply them to all the vast chemical processes that we rely on daily. These skills also allow me to be apart of my universities hyperloop society working on high-speed travel. I am very passionate about chemistry and so love d...

My course allows me to continue expanding on my knowledge of these subject areas as well as learning to apply them to all the vast chemical processes that we rely on daily. These skills also allow me to be apart of my universities hyperloop society working on high-speed travel. I am very passionate about chemistry and so love discussing it with people whenever I have the opportunity, be that as a tutor, classmate or student.

In preparation for my A level exams I found it very useful to sit down with my classmates and be able to discuss some of the topics that we struggled with, here I realise the potential of being able to discuss these problems with someone who has faced them. By tutoring students going through exams like I had I hope to make a positive impact on them and encourage them to explore more of the sciences.

I look forward to hearing from you and helping you ace your exams.

About my sessions

I believe the most important aspect of lessons is to have a tailored approach - everyone has different needs, be it the level of difficulty or certain aspects of a particular topic - making it imperative to discuss the exact approach with each student before undertaking sessions. This will allow me to plan a unique lesson with which I hope to engage you and solve any issues you might have. Explaining something with a passion is something that I see as a first step to engaging my students and...

Whenever there was something I did not understand be it at A level or GCSE I found it helpful to work through an easier problem with someone and then challenge myself with something a bit more difficult. However there is sometimes a necessity to go back to the beginning and start a topic a fresh. This doesn't mean you taking a step back I see it as consolidation of what you have learnt allowing you to understand it better. Sometimes it just helps to listen to an explanation from someone else's perspective!
