About me

I am a PhD student in Mathematical Sciences at Durham University. My research lies at the intersection of Differential Geometry and Measure Theory. You can Google "Optimal Transport" if you want know more... I love when abstract concepts are made clear seen through motivated, concrete or applied examples. When I was an undergraduate student, I used to take both physics and maths classes. I love how the laws of nature can be beautifully written in mathematical terms.

As a tutor, I have gone through most of the primary and secondary curriculums. If you are looking for help for your IB, A-level, GCSE, Scottish Higher, Grammar Schools, etc. Feel free to drop me a message. My postgraduate studies also involves being a teaching assistant. So, I have a lot of experience in helping uni students: Calculus, Linear Algebra, Real or Complex Analysis, Group Theory, Probability and Statistics, Classical Mechanics, General Relativity, the list goes on. Send me the title of the course you are studying and I'll tell you! If you are interested in Maths or Physics and you are learning on your own, I have special resources and lessons for you.

Due to the present situation, students are going through a season of uncertainty. Most of you should have their classes and assessments delivered remotely. Some of you might even have their exams cancelled. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I will try to do my best.

About my sessions

In Mathematics as in many other subjects, the key to succeed is to attain familiarity both with the theory and the practise.

First of all, a typical lesson will start with identifying the strength and weakness of the student in the topic studied. In Mathematics as in many other subjects, the key to succeed is to attain familiarity both with the theory and the practise.

First of all, a typical lesson will start with identifying the strength and weakness of the student in the topic studied. We will go then over the key concepts, the adequate formulas and the meaningful proofs to make sure the theory is well-understood by the student. Next, I will suggest to activate the student's knowledge through relevant exercises. In this part, we might practise on exercises owned by the student (past tests, exos from a syllabus, ...) or I can provided original content that will consistent with its goals. By the end of the lesson, I can give the student supplementary exercises that he might want to do on his own.

Obviously, I am very flexible. One student might need only a quick recap of his theory or need only some new exercises or even maybe just go through a past paper exam.
