About me

Hi!

I'm Megs and I'm a final year marketing student at Newcastle University :)

I have always loved maths and have studied it for years and even brought it through into my internship and marketing degree!

I studied Maths for the IB diploma and achieved a level 7 (/7) (equivalent to an A* at A Level) and I also studied it at GCSE level achieving an A*

I also recently completed an internship in digital marketing for L'Oréal so have a lot of experience in writing cover letters and job/internship/university applications in general!

I would LOVE to help you improve in these subject lines and take a very caring, informative and helpful approach by using past papers, my own workings and ideas and also your work type into account!

About my sessions

After getting to know a little about you and how you like to work, we can start by going over the basics and establishing exactly which areas we would like to focus on. I like to think if you have any areas you are very intent on working on first that you are struggling on, we can schedule around you.

We can go over exactly what goals we need to accomplish for you, personally.

Then, I like to work with you along side a past paper most sessions, ensuring we are using our time effectively and only spending time on what is relevant and making it clear the whole way through, how you will be attaining the marks.

Sometimes I will leave a few questions with you to practise after as well, and we can discuss in a following session.

Ultimately, I like to be organised and keep everything as clear and relevant as possible, and give you resources such as workings out and past paper answers to keep and look back on leading up to your exams.

Preparation is key! We will get there! :)

Two simultaneous equations are given as 2x + y = 5 and 3x + y = 7. Find the value of x and y.
