About me

I am a Computer Science student at Newcastle University. I've always had an interest and passion for computing and I hope my enthusiasm for the subject will inspire you to learn and succeed. With me as your tutor you’ll tell me what you’d like to revise. Sessions will involve covering the chosen subject area followed by some practice questions.

I'm a very friendly and easy-going person. I have tutored other students during sixth form so I already have experience teaching. Outside of University, I have a lot of experience programming so I am more than happy to take a look at your programming projects and coursework and offer advice.

If you don’t understand something, don’t be afraid to ask! I am happy to explain it to you in as many ways as possible until you do. If you’re applying to University for Computer Science, I have plenty of suggestions to give, including help with your personal statements.

If you’d like me to be your tutor, send me a message including your exam board and the areas you find most difficult, and we can arrange a meeting. I look forward to helping you succeed!

Questions George has answered

Explain two benefits to the government that falling unemployment provides.

1. There will be less unemployment benefits paid out by the government allowing them to spend this money elsewhere, such as improving infrastructure. 2. Less people unemployed means the government is able to collect more income tax, leading to a reduction of the budget deficit.
