About me

Hi! I'm Aisha, and I'm a first year Chemistry student at Durham University.

If you're wanting help with Chemistry, Maths or Physics, you've come to the right place. I know that science isn't always the most straight forward subject, but hopefully I can help you learn to love it just as much as I do!

With four younger siblings always asking for help with their homework, I have loads of patience! I am friendly, and no question is too silly so do not be afraid to ask! When I was at secondary school I often helped out at GCSE science revision classes - it's always helpful to get an explanation from someone who isn't your teacher!

The Sessions:

What we cover in the 55 minute session is UP TO YOU!

I will use lots of different ways (analogies, mindmaps, diagrams) to make sure you have a basic understanding before we move on to looking at exam questions.  A good way for me to check your understanding is making sure that you can explain the topic to me! I also have lots or revision hints and tips that you can try out when you get closer to your exams.

I hope that you'll find these sessions enjoyable - and learning something in somewhere other than a school environment hopefuly means you'll remember more!

What's next?

If you've got any questions for me, send me a "Web Mail" or book a "Meet the Tutor" session! Please tell me what it is you would like some help with, and your exam board!

I hope to see you soon!

I'm currently unavailable for tutorials (I'm just in the process of moving into and getting settled at University!) - however feel free to drop me a message and we can organise a "Meet the Tutor" session! Otherwise, I should be back and ready to go late October! See you then!
