About me

I have just finished my Natural Science MSci at the University of Nottingham. This was in Biology, Psychology and first year Maths. I know these subjects to a very high level and have enjoyed studying them.


I would love to pass on both my enthusiasm and my techniques for learning Biology, Psychology and Maths to help improve students’ confidence and grades. I think it is important for students to realise that I was in their position not that long ago and I can help them get the grades so that they can also achieve their goals.


In my free time I enjoy playing sport and volunteering. Whilst studying I played lacrosse for the University team . I am easy to talk to and good at explaining problems.

 I believe every student is an individual who learns differently and tutors should remember that when putting together lesson plans.


First it is important to discuss prior knowledge and what the student hopes to achieve.


I would structure my online lesson according to the stage the student is at, the style of learning that best suits the student and the goal of the student.


It is important for any tutor to remember that a student not only needs knowledge to do well but confidence in their ability to achieve.
