About me

About me:

I am a Fine Art Student at Edinburgh University. This is a 5 year joint honours course and I spit my time between history of art and practical studio work.

I have a fair amount of experience tutoring. During 6th form I was the student librarian and helped organise and run Homework Club where older students would come and support younger years with their school work.

Art:

Unlike many tutors here on MTW I am more than comfortable to offer guidance in creative subjects such as GCSE and A level Art and Design. Despite not being able to offer much support with practical work, due to the virtual sessions, I can help you develop your ideas and meet those all important assessment objectives that you might not have fully grasped yet. I have been through it all and know that you can achieve good grades and still have fun expressing your self and your ideas! Isn’t that what art is all about?

History/Writing:

Not many people will say this but I love writing essays! I find it so satisfying to be able to see all your thoughts clearly laid out in a succession of well structured paragraphs that lead to a well rounded conclusion. During tutorials we can plan your essays together and help you get started. We can apply this to many subjects, history, history of art and even A level art coursework essays.

What next?

If you are interested send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the tutor session' so we can discuss your needs. Remember these sessions are all about you and I am here to help you achieve your best.

I look forward to meeting you!
