I am a third year BSc Economics and Management student studying at King's College London. I achieved an A*AAA in my Psychology, Physics, Mathematics and ICT A Levels respectively and and I chose to pursue the finance sector because that's the field I am most familiar and passionate about thanks to various work experience and part time job opportunities. I aspire to become a consultant after I graduate and my educational journey so far has been monumental in equipping me with the relevant knowledge to be able to cope with the many professional challenges that I will face in the workplace. I spend my free time reading fiction and non-fiction books and articles as well as playing badminton, both of which have contributed to my skill set. I hope I can help and support capable students in achieving their academic and professional dreams because I know from experience that with hard work and taking advantage of the opportunities available in school, you can attain your goals. I aim to improve students' study techniques and provide them with useful resources so they can feel more comfortable with their subjects and in turn excel in their chosen qualifications.

About my sessions

I aim to not just be a tutor, but a mentor to my students when needed. The way I want to structure my lessons will be to go over the content that the student is struggling with, practise some questions with them and assign questions for self-practise so they can be better prepared for the topic before our next session. During the next session, I will spend some time reviewing the homework questions and then move on to the next topic. Before an assessment, I will quiz the student to make sure...

The way I want to structure my lessons will be to go over the content that the student is struggling with, practise some questions with them and assign questions for self-practise so they can be better prepared for the topic before our next session. During the next session, I will spend some time reviewing the homework questions and then move on to the next topic. Before an assessment, I will quiz the student to make sure they are comfortable with the content. To prepare for the tutoring sessions, I will mainly be referring to online resources and the syllabus as well as the core textbook recommended by the students' school. With this, I will be able to track my tutee's progress against the actual examination standards and in order to encourage learning and strengthen knowledge, we will be spending time on past papers as I believe that they are the most useful resource needed to excel. I hope to build a good rapport with the students so they feel comfortable approaching me with academic issues as well as advice regarding further education, internships, employment etc.
