Degree: History BA Hons (Bachelors) - Liverpool University
I am a 3rd year History student at the University of Liverpool. I am very passionate about my subject and am confident that my tutorials can help bring history 'to life' and help you in your studies.
I am patient and friendly. I have been teaching various subjects since I was 14, so I have a good deal of experience teaching all ages from as young as 4 to A-Level students.
What we cover during the sessions is completely down to you. I will use as many different ways as possible to explain ideas and events to you; such as analogies, timelines, mind-maps and palindromes so that whatever you are studying, we can look at together and go through in detail until you have a firm grasp of the concepts and ideas we are discussing.
Once you feel confident you can then explain these concepts back to me. This is a great way of both helping and proving your understanding.
These sessions should be a fun, productive way to help you along in your studies and will hopefully give you a helping hand on your way to academic success!
I've got exams coming up, how will these sessions help me?
I can offer first-hand experience of exam preparation, revision and essay technique. Crucially, I have been through these exams too, so I know what students look for and need in a tutor. Whichever aspect of exam preparation is concerning you, we can look at together and come up with a solution that fits you.
By going through revision/essay writing techniques, along with past papers; we can help you to achieve the best grades possible.
If you have any questions, please send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session' (both accessible through this website). Remember to tell me your exam board, and what it is you would like help with.
I look forward to meeting you!
