Degree: Law (Bachelors) - Bristol University
I am a first year law student at Bristol University. Being half-Chilean, with my dad living in Spain, I have always had a passion for Spanish – not just the language, but the culture and the people. During my gap year I lived there for four months and studied Spanish at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, and since coming to University missed speaking the language so much that I decided to get involved with tutoring.
I also love English, whether it be reading, writing, interpreting texts… it’s always been my favourite subject.
Whether with Spanish or English I will always tutor sessions specifically to your needs; if you let me know in advance which topic or area you would like to cover (for example, the subjunctive, or a particular poem) then I will use a range of techniques – such as visual aids, interactive, pneumonics – to help you develop your understanding of that particular topic.
In particular I will aim to build up your confidence with speaking Spanish as I being able to speak the language is fundamental to doing well so that you can put your learning into practise!
For you to feel confident, whether its for a piece of homework, coursework, an exam, or for a trip to Spain
To enjoy learning languages and to find which methods work best for you!
