I am in my second year at Exeter University studying for a Masters in Physics, obtaining a First Class with Houners grade last year. I am a very enthusiastic character and am very passionate about my course, and am keen to help pass on the knowledge i have acquired in my time at school and university to younger scientists/mathmeticians in a way that is easy for them to understand (and enjoy!)
I am a patient and understanding person who has volunteered as part of a youth group for the past three years, so I have experience in working with younger children (as young as the age of 8.) I hope to continue this work with children in the form of tutoring, where i can share my love for science in a way which is fun and engaging.
My tutor at university told me that the best way to be successful in a science or maths based subject is to fully understand the content, and I couldn't agree more. The sessions will be run by you, meaning you get to choose the topics covered. Any topic which you dont fully understand I will explain to the best of my ability, in the form of diagrams, graphs, analogys and words.
Aside from understanding the content, I hope to make my tutorials as fun and enjoyable as possible!
Being a fun and enthusiastic physics student, I have most probably been through exactly the same struggles which you may encounter. If you have any questions or seek advice on anything regarding UCAS applications or anything else, the chances are I have been in a situation similar. My main goal is to help you understand content, but if you have any other queries i am happy to help!
If you have any questions about me or what my tutorials will be like, please send me a 'web mail' or book a 'meet the tutor sussion' which are both accessible through the website.
I look forward to helping you solve your problems!
