About me

Hello! I am a second year undergraduate student studying Economics at the University of Warwick. I got A*A*A*A in Economics, History, Physics and Maths at A level as well as 11A*s at GCSE level. I discovered my love for economics when it was introduced to me in year 10. One of the main reasons was due to my passionate easy-to-talk-to teacher and I hope to instill the same enthusiasm in my students with the same method. With Economics I find that sometimes all you need is a different approach to the problem to get the answer. My tutorials are always highly rated and I always take feedback on board in order to continually improve and deliver the best tutorials to support you in achieving your potential. "Thank you so much, you're actually helping me to enjoy economics a lot more. Before I had you as a tutor I hated the subject because of my teacher, I found economics very difficult and never knew what I was doing wrong because my teacher's advice was always 'explain more' which meant nothing to me. I had tried out like 15 economics tutors before you and you have definitely impressed me! Your essay feedback is always so useful" - A2 OCR Economics student.

About my sessions

I'm very patient and friendly and we will go at whatever pace you think is best for you. We will go through topics until you are confident enough to explain them to me and then we will focus on applying your knowledge to exam questions. The sessions will focus on the content of the syllabus but also (more importantly) the exam technique that needs to be developed to grab those A/A*s! I'll tailor each session to your individual needs so that each session will be productive and no time is wasted. At the end of each session I'll give you a set of revision notes to supplement the tutorial and to consolidate your understanding of the topic. I can also help you with university applications and writing your personal statement and offer insight on what studying for an economics degree is like! If you have any questions you can send me a 'WebMail' or click on the 'Meet the Tutor' button. Remember to tell me what exam board your struggling with and any topics you want to cover. I look forward to meeting you!
