About me

I am a second year Chemistry BSc student at the University of Bristol, offering tutoring in GCSE/A-level Chemistry and GCSE Maths. I have always had a passion for Chemistry and I really enjoyed studying Maths. I am a very sociable, enthusiastic and hard-working person and I would love to help you improve your understanding of Chemistry or Maths. I believe it is important when tutoring to know how to teach at different levels, allowing the subject material to be as simple and easy as possible to understand. I strongly believe that I have the ability to do this and I'd love to be given the opportunity to help you to achieve your best!

About my sessions

Each student will have an initial online lesson, where we will be working out areas that you find difficult and would like to focus some time on. I will also have some questions prepared for this that we can go through together, just so that I can have a greater understanding of what you might need more help with. After this session I will prepare questions in these areas for us to go through together in order to improve your understanding. Once we have tackled key topics we can then start to look at past papers together and exam techniques. I believe that practice makes perfect and, especially with Chemistry and Maths, the best way to learn is lots of question and past paper practice, this is how I perfected my exam answers at school.

Each lesson is of course tailored to you and so I can be flexible with how I teach in order for you to get the best out of our lessons. I aim for the lessons to be enjoyable, engaging and for you to come away feeling a strong sense of achievement.
