About me

Hi, I'm Georgia and I'm studying French, German and Russian at Bristol University. I love learning languages and taking up Russian from scratch has been an exciting challenge. I have also previously taken a crash course in Italian to do the GCSE in a year.

I have recently taken my French and German A-Levels, so am very aware of how difficult the exam process is and would love to help out.

Please watch my profile video for more information and do get in touch if you are considering working with me! I will happily conduct a free session.

About my sessions

I would be able to help by offering lots of practice in all areas of language learning, including vocab, grammar, essay writing and speaking, listening and reading practice. When it comes to writing essays, I can share how best to structure essays, writing clear introductions and conclusions and using lots of impressive essay phrases. I have lots of up-to-date and very detailed notes on all the topics I covered at A-Level, which I would be very happy to share. These include lots of statistics, which are necessary to show off knowledge in a speaking exam, but also past essays I have written and great phrases to use.

I love speaking a language, and I have many tips on how to best revise for the dreaded speaking exams. I achieved 100% in my German speaking A-Level and 98% in my French, so this is probably what I'd most be able to help with. I would be happy to come up with big lists of possible questions which could be asked in the speaking exam and systematically work through them. I can also help coach how to give the best possible answers, both weaving in all the knowledge and statistics into the answer, but also impressive phrases and good uses of tenses.
