About me

About Me:

I have just completed my final examinations in History at the University of Oxford. While I love my subject, I am also keen to get back to the sciences, which I took to A Level.

I'm a friendly and dedicated person who has undergone over thirty hours of training at the university counselling service, enrolled in the Peer Supporter programme, and became the Welfare Officer for our Junior Common Room (JCR). I have also undergone SchoolsPlus teacher training.

The Sessions:

Our sessions will be led by your specific needs. The key to understanding is a comfortable environment, where the student is given space to reach their own conclusions and be offered guidance where appropriate.

Flexibility is key to maintaining interest and dynamic understanding.  I will engage with several different teaching methods to prevent a stifling learning environment.

The role of the tutor is not only to aid understanding but generate enthusiasm. By working with the student's specific skill-set, interests, and goals, I will strive to draw out the best possible path to make our sessions not only successful, but rewarding and inspiring.

What next?

If you have any questions, please do drop me a message! I will try my best to accomodate any qualifications/examination boards. I do a thorough survey of the syllabus and past papers, as well as creating numerous lesson plans before the first tutoring session in order to hit the ground running.

Thank you for your interest!
