I am a student in Economics at King's College London. The course is amazing: a mix of history, economic theory, and maths. This is a pretty unique course and I am really thrilled to be part of it. My professors are also amazing and incredibly knowledgeable people. All of these factors have allowed my passion for economics to grow more and more since I got into university.

Furthermore, King's College London is an amazing institution. Experiencing the importance that is attached to student life (e.g. healthy activities, entrepreneurship) by the university is a crucial asset to help students write their personal statements in the best possible way.

In addition, I love writing! I wrote a book last year on how to ace the French Baccalaureate. That has allowed me to improve my writing skills a lot.

About my sessions

I organise every tutorial in three parts:

·I first give the student the big picture of what we will study together. This allows them to have a broad idea of what the subject matter is.

·Secondly, I get into the details of the topic. I formulate ideas and go deeper and deeper into each of them, with sub ideas. I make use of the online tools as much as possible to give the student a visual representation of what we do. For example, this might look like that:

·In the final part of the course, I ask the student to sum up what we will have learnt together. It enables me to check that ideas have been well understood. I also save time to make sure that I can explain anything that would have been misunderstood.

For students needing help with a paper they have a deadline for, I always make sure that I return anything within 48 hours. If you need something to be corrected in a shorter delay, please message me. I usually respond within an hour. All my corrections include:

·a line-by-line feedback on what could have been done in a better way

·an overall feedback on what could have been done in a better way

·improvement axes

·and obviously answers to any questions that the student might have about writing their paper!
