About me

Hi guys! My name is Atul and I have recently completed my first year studying Law (LLB) at the London School of Economics.

I understand how difficult and challenging the university application process can be having gone through it myself. By preparing my tutees I hope to make the process transparent and straightforward. By adopting my strategies for the LNAT and with consistent practice students can ensure they achieve their very best.

My pursuit of honing the skill of argumentation and essay writing began very early on during my study of History and Economics at GCSE. This was only further compounded by going on to study both subjects at A-Level and ultimately drew me to the discipline of Law. Having learnt a lot about writing persuasively and concisely I am excited to tutor students who are just beginning to start this journey.

History GCSE requires effective and structured writing. Sessions on History will teach students how to interpret sources well and sculpt sophisticated arguments. .

I had multiple sessions with Atul right before my Oxford interview for Jurisprudence in Dec 2019. I found his approach to be very effective and very similar to how the real interviews are conducted. In fact, after practicing the interviews with him, I was more confident and relaxed at the interview itself because I had a pretty good idea as to what to expect. Our sessions consisted of case studies wherein he sent me a case 60 mins before the session and we discussed the case during the session. Atul pushed and challenged me to think and answer the questions thoughtfully. At the end of each session, we discussed my performance and the areas I should focus on in order to improve. I found this approach to be highly effective given that I was not only able to practice interviewing, but I was also able to receive constructive feedback. Atul himself went through the Oxford interview process and his insights into it were priceless. All in all, I’m very satisfied with the work I did with him.
