About me

Hi my name is Will and I'm studying at the University of Warwick. I've always found the best tutors to be patient and work at the level of the student to build up from their level of understanding. Once the understanding is in place it is crutial to just practise question after question so it stays in your mind when the exam season begins. I took my Mathematics A-Level on the Edexcel exam board so I have a great understanding of the content and structure of the modules. I am also very flexible on sessions. Give me your best times and I will do my best to work around you. I will list my exact module scores at the bottom of this resumé but first I'd like to talk about my previous work experience:

I've tutored primary school students with difficulties in basic mathematics. I found it crutial to remain patient with these pupils to gain progress as the weeks went on.

I next worked in my secondary school tutoring students who were just beginning their GCSE's. In particular a young lad with difficulties concentrating and grasping ideas. I found it important to talk on a personal level with him and attain mutual respect for each other. This really helped to raise his attention span and improve his grades. I have also tutored a year 9 wizz who was already up to A-Level standard. In term one I covered C1 with him and he attained an A grade at the end of that term.

I always found it easy to grasp new concepts and quickly put the links into place so I used to tutor members of my own year group who didn't quite understand how things all worked together and more importantly why. Ironically a couple of my friends went on to A* grades while a slip on the C4 paper left me with an A.

Thanks for reading my resumé and if you have any queries or wish to know more then please contact me. So as promised here are my individual module marks:
