About me

Hi, I'm Ella and I am available to tutor GCSE English, Art and Biology. I am currently studying English Literature and History of Art at the University of Exeter.

Studying English at university, the subject is definitely my area of expertise. However, having taken Art and Biology for A Level, I am more than happy to give you a hand with any struggles you may have in these subjects too.

I understand how daunting English Lit and Lang at GCSE can be, especially with the huge pressure to achieve that all important C grade. With no clear textbook to learn from or simple list of topics to cover, it is difficult to know where to start! So, my aim in tutorials is to break down the subject into achievable tasks, purposefully tailored to your exams and coursework. I can help with any difficulties you are having structuring essays, knowing where to start revising, with homework or if you need help improving your writing style. The areas we cover in the tutorials are always your call!

No matter how tedious they are, practise essays are one of the best ways to revise. So, I am always free to mark any practise questions and suggest useful ways to improve.

If you have any questions please send me a message or book a 'meet the tutor' session. Both can be accessed on this website (top right). I hope I can help you!
