Degree: Biology (Bachelors) - Imperial College London University
Hello! I am a 2nd year Biology studnet at Imperial College London. Science is my passion and I love passing it on to students. I used to volunteer in day-care centre, where I was tutoring children. I was also frequently asked for tutorials by my classmates. Hence, I already have some experience in teaching. I reckon, it is very important to realize biology is not just dull memorisation of facts, but an exciting experimental subject that requires some thinking as well.
Before I got to Imeprial I did IB and I managed to finish it with 45 points. It was not that long ago, so I still remember how hard and challenging it can be. I have a very good understanding of IB Diploma Programme and not only can I guide through the material you need to know to pass your exams with flying colours, but also I can offer you advice on Internal Assessment and Extended Essay and support you throught this roller coaster IB offers you!
Sessions will depend on your own needs. I will cover the material that you struggle with using a lot of visual help and putting sometimes biology trivia in to keep you engaged and excited about the subject. We will do a lot of excercises to ensure you understand discussed concepts thoroughly. Structure of tutorials will be personalised to make sure that the teaching methods allow you to fully develop your potential and make the most of the tutorial.
I am looking forward to meeting you!
