About me

A bit about me

Hello! I'm studying Natural Scieces at Cambrige and I'm in my first year. I love science and I really enjoy sharing my enthusiam for my subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Geology) with other students.

As a tutor I am flexible in my approach to teaching. We can cover the matieral you would find most useful, and we'll adapt the sessions untill we find the method of learning that works best for you. The most important aim of any session is to give you a deeper understanding of any topics you'd like to tackle.  As I took my A-Levels last year, I'm familiar with the course material and the style of questions/ answers commonly used by exam boards. We can work through past paper questions as well as insuring you really understand the science behind the answers.

I've always enjoyed teaching. During my last year of school I tutored both GCSE and A-Level students in the sciences and I am fully DBS checked. I'm a friendly and approachable teacher. I hope I can help you to be the best you can be.

Applying to Uni

I well remember the often painful process of navigating the UCAS application system. I'm happy to answer questions on personal statements or the application process in general.

Electrophiles 'love' negative charge - this means they are attracted to regions of negative charge. And as such they tend to be positively charged.

Similarily Nucleophiles 'love' positive charge, so they tend to be negatively charged and will seek out postively charged regions.
