About me

Who am I?

I am a religious studies and theology student at the University of Bristol. My passion, and strength have always been in humanities, excelling at school in philosophy and ethics, English, geography and psychology.

Due to my patient, outgoing and enthusiastic demeanor, I have often been told that I am destined for teaching. Fortunately, I have had the opportunity to gain experience in various different teaching roles. I’ve helped run P.E, maths and English classes at Agincourt Primary School, taught a year 7 class religious studies in my last year of sixth form and, through being a lifeguard, I have assisted in running sports parties for young kids

After my degree, I aspire to do a PGCE at the University of Bristol in Religious Studies.

The Sessions:

During the sessions we will focus on the areas of study that you want to improve and develop. Humanities are often about remembering lots of material so I will help with techniques to learn dates, scholars, facts and figures.

To keep the sessions fun and interesting I include many different ways (diagrams, words, analogies) to explain the idea or theory, until the student is capable of speaking it back to me with confidence. I understand that everyone has different methods of learning that is suited to them (such as ‘question and answer for me’). Through these study sessions I will make sure that I will help the student find their best method of learning, as to me, this is key to revision success.

I hope the sessions will be fun! A lot can be achieved in 55mins - By the end of each session I will make sure that all students feel more confident in their work/understanding and leave with a smile on their face.

What next?

If you have any questions, send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session'! (both accessible through this website). Remember to tell me your exam board and what you're struggling with.

I look forward to meeting you!
