I just finished a PhD from Durham University in International Trade and Commercial Law. I am taking a break after having finished an intense research degree. I love to teach different areas in humanities because I take pride in seeing the process of transformation from basic understanding to deeper understanding. My aim in tutoring is to make you confident in any area that you would be able to teach your friends as well.
I am patient, friendly and I enjoy a good laugh during the tutorials. I want to make sure that tutees feel comfortable enough to stop me at every point when they are struggling to understand a concept. I am committed towards ensuring that tutees not only understand their topics, but that they start to think critically. Preparing them for the next academic stage in their life. I currently tutor at Durham University where my tutees come from different backgrounds.
During the sessions, we would discuss any area you choose, with you guiding the session. We can pause for any questions and discuss whatever you do not understand.
I hope the sessions will be fun! A lot can be achieved in 55mins especially if it is made enjoyable.
If you have any questions, send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session'! (both accessible through this website). Remember to tell me your exam board and what you're struggling with.
I look forward to meeting you!
