About me

Hi, I'm Syed.

I am currently a medical student at the University of Warwick.

A big part of being a medic is being able to communicate and teach those around you, a skill which I have developed over the last few years in helping friends and family prepare for A-levels and GCSE's.

Hi, I'm Syed.

I am currently a medical student at the University of Warwick.

A big part of being a medic is being able to communicate and teach those around you, a skill which I have developed over the last few years in helping friends and family prepare for A-levels and GCSE's.

I am really excited to have the opportunity to teach and pass forward the knowledge I have learnt not just from my current degree but previous studies and previous tasks that I have had to complete to get here.

Having this opportunity is helpful for me and the student I will be teaching as it allows me to keep my knowledge fresh and up to date as well as do my part in helping someone else succeed and reach their potential.

About my sessions

My approach to learning is that it is only possible when the content is made interesting and easy to understand. Breaking the content down so that it is made interesting and easy to understand is how I approach my teaching. I aim to break down concepts into smaller sections which allow for easier understanding well before even approaching memorisation. This I feel is essential in achieving a long term retention of information. I would also advise any tutees to send me a message before out ses...

I would also advise any tutees to send me a message before out session highlighting what they feel is important to them in terms of their own strengths and weaknesses. This gives me a good starting point and allows our time to be more efficient in that we can immediately start to work on different aspects of the tutees knowledge without going through an evaluation. Of course if an evaluation is required where the tutee is unsure of their current abilities then I would also be happy to do so.

I always look for a tutor who has a two way conversation! Not a lecturer, you can see the progression through each step! Excellent
