Degree: Mathematical Biology (Masters) - Exeter University
I am a Mathematical Biology student at Exeter University. I have a passion for maths and the role it plays in our everyday lives, even when we don't realise it! Maths is one of the most useful subjects to understand, and I hope I can help you see why it's so important and (in my opinion) fun! Relating maths problems to real life is a great way to see how you will use it in future, and to help you understand what's going on in seemingly daunting equations and problems.
I also have a love of biology, and I find it fascinating to understand the processes going on in the world around us, and inside our bodies too! I'd love to help you enjoy the subject as much as I do.
Having been Head Girl at my sixth form, I understand the importance of good communication and clear explanations, and so I'm happy to work through any complicated topics for as long as necessary until you fully understand and know it all in your sleep!
Please contact me for a 'Meet the tutor' session, I will try my best to understand your problems and to help you view them in new ways that may make more sense to you.

Prices are: £40 per guest. Total cost reduced by 5% with over 60 guests.
First, we work out the cost of Nisha's suggestion.
£40 x 70 guests = 2800
To find 5% of this, we can divide by 10 to get 10% (280), and then divide by 2 to get 5% (140). Then we do £2800-£140=£2660.
Next we work out Dipen's cost.
To reduce our total guests by one fifth, we first divide 70 by 5 to get 14. Then take 14 away from 70 to get 56. To find the cost of inviting 56 guests, we multiply 56 by £40 which gives us £2240.
Is this £500 less than Nisha's costs?
£2660-£2240=£420 so the answer is no, they would only save £420.see more
