About me

About Me:

I am a Linguistics student at the University of York. I have always had a real passion and love for language and hope that my tutorials will instill that love in you, too.

I am very patient and friendly, and have a lot of experience teaching. I have taught English to international students at my university, in addition to teaching English as a foreign language at a summer camp in Barcelona, to children aged 5 to 15.

The Sessions:

During the sessions, you will guide what we cover. In language learning, I am in favour of understanding, rather than learning by repetition. We can also focus on exam questions and exam technique if you wish.

I hope the sessions will be fun! A lot can be achieved in an hour, especially if it is made enjoyable- I would love to pass on my passion for languages!

I'm applying to university.. Can you help me?!

Yes! I can also help with your personal statement.

What next?

If you have any questions, send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session'! (both accessible through this website). Remember to tell me your exam board and what you would like to focus on during the session.

I look forward to meeting you!

Thank you for the lesson today. Home work helped me. Near to the end of lesson, there were some banging sounds, some people were doing fireworks out side .
