About me

Since I was 15, I have provided students tuition on-and-off in musical studies. I am very qualified in music for my age, and although I have not yet tutored students in strictly academic subjects, I have a good amount of experience in both leading groups and providing one-on-one tuition. I have taught children professionally between the ages of 8 and 13 to play the guitar, and received a good deal of praise from the students' parents in my commitment to their progress. I am very passionate about my university course and I have a talent for explaining things in simple terms, and enjoy teaching people about the things I love. I am fascinated by the classical world and all it had to offer, and I sincerely look forward to helping students to unlock their potential, and to learn essay structure, combined with tools of revision and planning to allow them to do justice to their interests. I know how stressful and all-consuming studying can be, and I hope to be able to convert anxiety into progress and academic pursuit. Learning is, by far, one of the greatest joys in my life, and I hope to provide students with the tools to enjoy study, instead of perceiving it as a necessary evil only to be pacified by passing exams.
