Degree: Law with European Study (Bachelors) - Exeter University
My name is Molly Tarring and I am currently in my first year studying Law with European Studies at the University of Exeter. Although my degree is focussed on Law, 25% of it is based on French, so not only have I studied French before, but I am continuing to practise with every week at university. I think learning a language is incredibly useful for the future, in that it teaches you different skills, you learn about different cultures, and all of this makes you more attractive for potential employers. French particularly is a beautiful language, and France has so many beautiful places to visit if you get the opportunity. I have done three exchanges in France and am hoping to spend my third year in the south of France to learn about aspects of the French legal system.
During tutoring sessions I would like to not only help you achieve the top GCSE French grades, but I would like to show that learning it can really be enjoyable, challenging and massively useful for other subjects you may be studying such as English or another foreign language. From years of studying French I know that practice makes perfect, and that looking solely at a grammar sheet does not teach you to love the subject. It is important to use different methods of teaching to maintain an interest in the language, as well as ensuring that you understand each topic well before moving onto the next.
I sincerely hope I am able to help you achieve a grade in your GCSE that you may not believe yourself capable of, because with stimulating and informative teaching you will have the ability to succeed in any tests or exams. If you wish to get in contact you can do so via the MyTutorWeb website and I would be happy to help with any enquiries.
