About me

I am French-British-Persian, born and raised between Paris and London, and graduated in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College. I am passionate about flight as a hobby and am looking to pass my Private Pilot's License soon – hopeful or wishful thinking maybe?

I am also a keen pianist and have been playing for a number of years and am looking to join a jazz band for weekends.

I am also a keen pianist and have been playing for a number of years and am looking to join a jazz band for weekends.

Sports-wise, I am orientated towards tennis, golf and squash, and learning how to surf. Also quite a wine and food enthusiast (as any stereotypical Frenchman perhaps!).

Tutoring: I've done tutoring for over 5 years now, and have had over 40 pupils. The vast majority of my students achieved stellar academic results. One of them recently interviewed at Harvard University – still awaiting their response so fingers crossed!

I teach: Maths, Physics, Sciences, Biology, French, English, Writing, History, Geography.

I also help with College Applications, Personal Statements, Resumes and Career Advice

About my sessions

My approach starts by getting to know you (the student) as a person. What drives you? What matters to you? Who do you want to become? Why do you get up in the morning? What do you do for fun?

This allows me to understand your personality, character, and approach to your life. I can then use this information to motivate you, to better adapt my explanations (I often use metaphors so you understand the concept more visually), and for us to build a partnership for long-term success.

Together, we build a plan of action as a team, which requires both my overview, foresight and planning, and your focus and will.

With a clear plan, with clear goals that are adapted to you, I prepare sessions in advance, anticipating areas you might need more help with, and adapting the pace and focus of each session as we go through the content together.

Because we are a team, I will always be available to answer questions and queries, even outside of class hours. It is not rare for me to correct maths exercises for my students on my way to work, during the day, or even late at night if they need it. Like I said, it’s a partnership for long-term success, and we are both giving it 100%.

I will act as your mentor both for academia and any question you may have about your life – like I already do with my 2 younger brothers!

Looking forward to many new adventures on this platform!
