About me

Hi!

I am currently a fresher at the University of Warwick, studying Maths, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics, or MORSE. I have always enjoyed the challenge of maths and would really like to help you experience joy and satisfaction in solving maths problems!

In secondary school and sixth form, I had some difficulties myself learning maths and so I would like to share my knowledge and make it more accessible to learn the subject that I was once not so good at myself. I have some tutoring experience which have taught me to be patient and have also taught me the value of enjoyable tutoring sessions. Whilst still at sixth form, I was teaching students maths and it was rewarding when I saw results, including students achieving their target grade and even being offered a place at university.

If this sparks interest, please tell me what exam board you are with for your subjects and also what topics you are having trouble with, and I'll do my best to help you.

Questions Jay has answered

How do I get better at Maths?

Everything in Maths is about actually physically doing questions and solving the problems so it is important to be exposed to a lot of maths problems so you can get better at recognising the different types of questions and the different ways in which you can answer them.
