I am currently and am currently pursuing a postgraduate Masters degree in Medieval History at King's College London (KCL, ranked 19th internationally, QS World Rankings 2016) and University College London (UCL, ranked 7th internationally, QS World Rankings 2016) and I have an undergraduate degree in History from King's College London. I recent secured PhD funding from the AHRC and am looking forward to beginning my PhD soon. I love History, and am always reading about something new. My particular strength is in Medieval and Early Modern European History and the History of Italy, but I have very recently been interested in the Second World War and also the nation-building era after the Napoleonic Wars.
How we work through your syllabus is very much up to you. We can focus on historical events, historiography, or exam technique. We will consult many sources to give you a balanced understanding of your topics and every lesson I hope you'll leave much more confident than before.
I have taught students for many years now, having worked as a Teaching Assistant for 4 years and as an Assistant History Teacher to secondary-school children (12-18 y/o) during the current academic year at an Ofsted 'Outstanding' school in North London. In 2014 I taught in schools in Kathmandu, Nepal with the educational charity Debate Mate for 4 months, and have an Enhanced DBS Certificate.
