Degree: History and Politics (Bachelors) - Exeter University
I am a history and politics student at the University of Exeter who is passionate about the subjects that I study, and I’d really like to instil the knowledge that I’ve accrued during my time at university and A-Level to a new group of students.
I know how challenging some of the concepts and topics can be in both fields, and the difficulties and the stresses of exams, but with the right tutoring and guidance then exams start to make sense. I will aim to to break down daunting topics in a fun way, and focus on exam technique to ensure that you can improve your existing knowledge and to get the grades that you’re aiming for.
I have had previous experience with teaching in the past, running a science club for younger students in my secondary school, and mentoring younger actors at my previous theatre club, so patience is a key skill that I pride myself upon. Academically I have also won awards for politics at my sixth form and received a Dean’s Commendation at the university as well.
Please Note: All examination boards are accepted, but please note that my expertise in history is largely confined to modern and early modern periods. I also will help with personal statements.
