Degree: Medicine (Bachelors) - Imperial College London University
Need help applying for medical school, whether it is your personal statement, university choices, UKCAT/BMAT prep? Want to consolidate your A Level or GCSE understanding? I am here for you :)
WHO I AM
Originally from Cyprus, I've been living in London for almost a year now, studying Medicine at Imperial College London.
I love learning, and from a very young age, had a (sometimes weird) passion for teaching. So much that I remember printing out maths tests from Google and examining my parents at age 7.
I have a deep passion for all things science, and have done physics, chemistry and biology to A Level (obtaining A in the former, and A*s in the latter two), as well as maths with a grade of A*. Studying in a biochemistry intensive course at the moment means that I am willing and able to help you with chemistry and biology A Level in addition to GCSE.
WHAT I CAN DO FOR YOU
I believe I am qualified to help you with Physics, Chemistry and Biology GCSE, as well as Chemistry and Biology A Levels.
FOR STUDENTS CONSIDERING TO APPLY TO MEDICAL SCHOOL:
I know how hard and long the process can be. I've been there. I can guide you through the process of the applications, help you perfect your personal statement, as well as help you with your UKCAT and BMAT prep.
I have recently had the chance to help several younger students in my hometown, (including my brothers who is currently at GCSE level) with their science and maths courses, and would love to help anyone else!
I also have experience voluntarily teaching disabled children during the summer, which was an incredibly valuable experience.
I'd like to think that I'm patient, fun and energetic person, so if you'd like to be taught by that kind of a person, hit me up :)
Please remember that I am here to help you consolidate your understanding of the science concepts that you are having trouble with. Your needs and personal requirements will determine the direction of the sessions, and I am willing to do (almost) anyhting to help you with your learning!
IF YOU'RE INTERESTED...
you can drop me a message, or book a meeting session to get in touch with me and get things started! Make sure you tell me what you're looking for help for, what your level is, and the exam board!

It is important to remember that the myelin sheath is essential for our nervous system.
It forms a layers of fatty material around the axon.
This allows INSULATION, which, in turn, allows quicker conduction of electrical impulses.
First of all, the IMPULSE IS DECTECTED by receptors.
SENSORY neurone passes impulse onto RELAY NEURONE in SPINAL CORD.
RELAY neurone passes impulse onto MOTOR neurone
MOTOR neurone passes impulse to EFFECTOR MUSCLE/GLAND
