I'm studying a broad range of subjects currently because I'm interested in going into research later on, and am building up a strong base before I specialise - I plan to specialise in molecular genetics because currently, even at an undergrad level I have questions that my current lecturers and supervisors cannot answer for me, I look forward to making some headway into these topics.

Although my main focus is sciences, I also have a passion for art and languages, taking both Art at A-level and Mandarin HSK alongside my STEM subjects.

About my sessions

I will start each session from a broad question or issue, and build up a framework over the course of the session from which the student will be able to address the original question.

I will help students to achieve their goals by discussing their current progress, addressing where they want to be, and working towards this. I will use the same techniques that I used when working for exams in school.

I will help students to achieve their goals by discussing their current progress, addressing where they want to be, and working towards this. I will use the same techniques that I used when working for exams in school.

I will measure progress based on a combination of competence with exam-style questions - as this is what we will eventually be working towards - but also assessing their fundamental understanding of the concepts being addressed.

In order to encourage learning, i think that it is important to establish an interest, or sense of curiosity in the subject, this can be facilitated at least in part by looking at the student's current interests and seeing how the subject of study is applicable.
