About me

About Me:

I am a final year medical student at the University of Liverpool. I have a strong passion for science and I love to share and inspire others with it. I have been involved in teaching since 2009 and have acquired a range of skills that are suitable for a variety of learning styles and age groups.

Generally, students find it easy to relate to me and this helps build a good rapport. Good rapport makes learning science fun and gives the inquisitive student an opportunity to ask questions. My approachable nature and patient manner works well with students who may need more time to understand more challenging concepts.

The Sessions:

The sessions will be tailored according to the student’s learning needs and learning style. When understanding science, it is important to grasp the key concepts before being able to apply them. It is also important for sessions to be enjotable. I will use a variety of teaching methods from drawings, words, analogies, acronyms and songs to build a good foundation knowledge in a fun way to make the 55 minutes enjoyable.

Applying for medical school? I can help!

I went through the medical school application and experienced three different interview styles. I understand how stressful the application process can be, especially when preparing for different universities! Since my time as a medical student, I have advised and assisted many students on their personal statement and interview techniques. Having worked as a student representative during the interview period, I have much insight and can offer good advice on interview skills and building confidence.

What next?

If you have any questions, send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session'! (both accessible through this website). Remember to tell me your exam board and what you're struggling with.

I look forward to meeting you!
