About me

I recently graduated from Oxford with a first class degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. This means that I know just how difficult it can be to have to juggle a broad range of subjects, especially whilst preparing for exams - but I also know how to do it successfully!

Philosophy is my main love because I think it provides unbeatable problem-solving and argumentation skills, but these skills are also invaluable for learning maths, politics and french (three other subjects I love to teach), as well as for aptitude tests of any level.

I know from experience that exam preparation can often feel like a long and stressful memory game, trying to cram all of the syllabus into your brain. I want to help my students realise that whilst there’s no getting around the fact that exam success does require a lot of remembering, the most important thing is to fully understand and enjoy the material! With my lessons, I want to help you do exactly that.

About my sessions

Looking for exam help? These sessions, depending on the subject and the individual student’s needs, would typically focus on a particular topic or essay question which we could then look at in depth, fleshing out the topic to build confidence with the material whilst also building an understanding of what the examiner expects by looking at examiner reports. I believe that detailed feedback and regular evaluations are the best way to improve quickly and ensure that we make the...

Looking for university preparation? At Oxford I was involved with the admissions team, meaning that I am experienced in providing accurate and helpful advice on the Oxbridge application process. I am able to provide interview preparation sessions including mock interviews, personal statement guidance sessions, and tutoring for TSA practice. I can also do general Q&A sessions if all you want is to dispel some myths and become a bit more familiar with the way it all works!

Looking for Extended Project Qualification help? With an extensive base of knowledge in both politics and philosophy, I am able to support and guide exploration of these subjects through the Extended Project Qualification. I did the EPQ myself I would love to make sure that you are able to get the most out of your project.
