Degree: Chemistry (Masters) - Oxford, Lady Margaret Hall University
I am a chemistry student at Oxford University. I am passionate about the sciences and hope to help you enjoy your studies.
I am very patient and friendly. I have been tutoring since I was 17, so have a lot of experience. In 2011 I volunteered to prepare a spcial needs child for his grade 2 on piano for 18 months. He passed with a disctinction which gave me the greatest pleasure and sense of achievement.
During the sessions, you can ask me whatever you wish. In science basic understanding is key, so before we do exam questions, we will focus on this.
Exam technique is very important, so once you understand a concept, we will practise questions and look at mark schemes to ensure you achieve the best mark possible.
I hope the sessions will be enjoyable!
If you have any questions, send me a 'WebMail' or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session'! (both accessible through this website). Remember to tell me your exam board and what you're struggling with.
I look forward to meeting you!

The best way to improve your exam technique is to do past papers under timed conditions. Be strict with yourself and treat it like an actual exam. Then mark your own paper using the official mark scheme and annotate your exam paper when correcting. Questions tend to be repeated so remembering what the mark scheme is looking for is often helpful.see more
Maths is all about practise. Once you have covered a topic, you should do as many practise questions as possible to help you understand the topic. Always show your working out on your exam paper to gain maximum marks.
