Degree: Medicine (Bachelors) - University College London University
Hello! My name is Harriet and I am a final year medical student at University College London, having completed the first part of my degree at the University of Cambridge. I am passionate about tutoring and find helping students achieve their full potential immensely rewarding. Whether you are struggling to get to grips with the basics of mathematics and science subjects or you want that extra push to go from an A to an A*, I teach all abilities and am happy to adapt to whatever it is you need.
I let my tutorials be guided by each individual student... I like to find out what learning methods work best for you and tailor the tutorials accordingly. I have found that maths and science taught at school can be quite dry and so I like to use relevant stories and analogies as well as entertaining ways of remembering facts to really engage youand hopefully inspire you to enjoy maths and science as much as I do! I also think it is really important to challenge and stretch my tutees to ensure they can make maximum progress during tutorials and achieve the best grade possible.
What else can I offer?
As a medical student I am happy to offer advice to anyone considering such a career and deciding on A levels and university applications, as well as help with UKCAT and BMAT examinations. In addition, I am happy to discuss personal statements and assist with Oxbridge applications and interview techniques as I know what a daunting process it can be!
Please feel free to contact me via 'WebMail' with any questions or book a 'Meet the Tutor Session'. I hope your studies are going well and I look forward to hearing from you!
