About me: I am currently a student at the University of Southampton doing a Masters degree in Mathematics and Chemistry. During my secondary school years I developed a fervour for the sciences that has driven me to success and lead me to a degree at a prestigious University. I hope to be able to inspire passion inside my students for their subject so that they are confident enough to do the same.
I am very patient and friendly with all my students and I don't mind explaining something 100 times until you understand it completely. I have been teaching Mathematics to my local primary school since I was 14 years old and worked alongside my biology tutor in a private company to tutor children from ages 5 to 13. As well as this I have acquired experience teaching abroad in India to children who did not have access to an education system. All of these experiences is why I deem myself fit to teach you.
The "Virtual Meetings"
During these meetings, you will tell me what your strengths and weaknesses are so I can construct a plan of my sessions to guide my schedule in what we will be covering.
I will try to decipher what kind of learner you are (Kinesthetic/Auditory/Visual) as I feel this is vital in getting you to understand key concepts and will mean that I can cover more in these sessions so overall you require fewer. I have had a training course at my University that allows me to deal in the most efficient manner with all three types of learners. If you have found that a learning method has worked with you in the past, let me know and I can accommodate it into our meetings :).
I will make sure that the meetings occur in a relaxed environment, where you can learn about the subject in a fun and enjoyable way. I hope that at the end of my session you will be as intrigued and fascinated by science as I am.
