Degree: Egyptology (Masters) - Liverpool University
I am currently a masters student at Liverpool University studying Egyptology. My passion for ancient and Egypt and all things history related started in primary school and continues to this day.
I am patient and friendly. During my school years I helped younger students with any problems that they required help with, this then continued into sixth from when I formed part of the prefect team at my secondary school. I also have Dyslexia and Dyspraxia so I understand the pressure that some students can feel when exam season hits as well as the constant internal comparison that someone can feel when looking at what their peers are achieving. But the one thing that has helped me is just to say that this is just the way my brain works and I should celebrate that. As a result of this my methods for teaching uses a variety of fun and engaging techniques to both explain concepts and to help you to remember them for exams.
The sessions themselves will be dictated by you and what you want to cover as well as being at a suitable pace.
If you have any questions for me just send me a webmail or book a session to meet me, all of which can be done through the mytutor website.
All the best and I look forward to meeting you soon

When I analyses a source I keep it simple and look primarily a three main features that can affect a source. These include the date the source was written, who was the intended audience for the source and finally who wrote the source. For ease when revising I find it useful to colour code these three main points as well as isolating the source within a page.
For example an NSDAP Leaflet written in 1920 in which it blames 300 bankers throughout the world for the economic downturn that the country was facing.
Shake off your Jewish leaders………..Don’t expect anything from the Bolsheviks (Russian Communists) ….. (The Russian Government) is nine-tenths Jewish. Bolshevism is a Jewish swindle.”
This small excerpt shows the kind of language used by the NSDAP (later to be known Nazi Party) in order to play on already underlying anti-sematic feelings in the country as well as appealing to those that have fallen n bad times to have a cause for their ill fate.see more
