About me

Since beginning my Medical degree at the University of Oxford three years ago, I have been offering mock interviews to students at my school who are looking to study medicine and/or aspiring to Oxbridge. I have also run multiple personal statement workshops and university application talks. I have also run multiple personal statement workshops and university application talks. This has given me a wealth of experience working with students, and has enabled me to collate lots of resources of past interview questions at several different universities. Multiple students I have worked with have received Medicine offers, from universities such as Oxford, Imperial, Bristol and Queen Mary's.

I am in my third of 6-years, intercalating with specialised modules in Neurology and Immunology. I absolutely love these subjects, and hope to work as a consultant neurologist in the future!

I went to a state school, so felt relatively alone during A-level preparation, and in the daunting application process to both Medicine and Oxford. However, through this I learned many ways to personally succeed, and would like to share these with others!

-Mock Interviews in any of the above

Typically for interview preparation I would advise at least two sessions, in which we work on answers to key interview questions, skills and understanding of medical ethics. Then after you feel more confident, a separate 1-hour lesson can be held, in which I will conduct a professional mock interview for 30-45 minutes. This will include the usual medical interview questions, followed by some science-based questions that I often see come up, and finally some ethical dilemma questions. I will make notes throughout the interview, so that we can discuss your answers after the interview is finished, and work on this feedback.

If personal statement advice is required, we can begin to construct yours during a lesson, or read over a draft you have together. I am experienced in this field after writing my own personal statement, from which I received offers from all medical schools I applied to. I have also been paid to run two-day personal statement workshops at my sixth form, and give online advice to several students on their drafts in the run-up to the UCAS deadline.
