I have been tutoring for about 3 or 4 years now, teaching English, Maths, and sometimes Science and general homework help at GCSE level and below. I have gained more and more students through positive reviews and parents talking to each other, and it's a part-time job that I find really rewarding and enjoyable.

I'd love to talk to you about how I can help with whatever you are looking for!

About my sessions

I am a firm believer that a tutoring session is there for one purpose only and that is to help you get what you want out of it. I like to spend the first session or few sessions just working out what you are looking for and what works best for you – I have worked with children with reading/writing/learning difficulties and I think this is super important to make sure the student feels comfortable and supported but also pushed to their potential.

Starting the session with something comfortable to work out how the student is feeling that day is also important, and trying to work out the point where they are challenged but not panicking. Equally, I like to end the session with a recap, positive and constructive feedback, and looking to the next session/what they might do differently now.
