About me

Hello there!

I currently study Physics at Imperial College London, where I'm currently doing a paper on cost effective early early earthquake detection magnetometer. I've been educated at a UK school in York. At school I served as a tutor to younger years as I was always happy to help. As well as had my own series of science demonstration lectures for students and the general public. At school I served as a tutor to younger years as I was always happy to help. As well as had my own series of science demonstration lectures for students and the general public. As a tutor I aim to develop a style of teaching that would be tailored to each individual, anchored in their strongest assets and fun to follow. Which in turn should make covering more difficult topics easier and less daunting. As there're no such thing to me as "stupid questions", I'm keen on having open students that are happy to work together on their weaknesses and strengths.

About my sessions

My sessions will have a specific goal attached to them, which will fit together with the long term teaching plan. I'm aiming to get few students but be truly committed to them (quality over quantity).

A session would normally start with a quick recap of what was done last time, and based on that follow on to more advanced topics. It's not a lecture, I think student and I should speak just as much and work together. Whether it's working on current schoolwork, getting good grades and amounting the knowledge needed later at the exams, or having a specific preparations for the before mentioned exams (which however scary they sound, they don't have to be which I hope to change :-) )
