About me

I have a passion for anything maths and physics related and have a good level of experience explaining concepts and helping others understand complicated ideas and methods. This experience comes from being the oldest in a family of 4 children and helping all my younger siblings through their maths and physics GCSE’s. Outside of academics I have previously competed in elite sport having won 2 gold medals rowing for England as well as Henley Royal Regatta, while I no longer compete at that level I still exercise regularly and occasionally coach younger athletes.

About my sessions

I am happy to tailor the sessions to whatever you feel would be best. Personally, I’ve always found learning through examples to be the best method of teaching maths and physics. I like to choose engaging examples based on real world situations, therefore allowing the student to relate to the problem and see the relevance of what they are learning. I’ve found this makes the learning experience far more memorable rather than simply recycling the same mundane examples used in textbooks.
