About me

I'm a current student in International Relations at LSE. I have been learning Spanish and German for 8 years, both of them within the UK education system, and also speak Mandarin Chinese after living in Western China for a year. During this time, I taught English to classes of 60 students and to one person, gaining a recognition of and an ability to adapt to what is needed by different types of lessons. I aim to keep grammar explanations as simple and clear as possible, using examples to practise them in real-life situations. I believe that vocabulary is best learnt not necessarily through lists, but rather through memorable moments of real life practice, spaced repetition with the help of technology, and an understanding of the word's position in the language.

If you're strategic, having a conversation requires less knowledge and experience than you think!
