About me

My aim in teaching is the same as in my own study: get to a point where the exam is comfortable not daunting; enjoyable not stressful. With sufficient preparation and understanding, even unfamiliar questions need not be scary.

My ability to tap into each student's difficulties and develop a really comprehensive understanding has ensured I have always had great relationships with my students . One past student says "he has the rare combination of elite academic ability yet also a kind patience and clarity to his explanations". Another says "he recognised immediately those areas where I was lacking and worked hard with me to understand my errors in understanding and approach".

At GCSE, I did Edexcel IGCSE Maths and OCR Edexcel Music. At A-level, I did OCR Further Maths and Music.

For Oxbridge preparation sessions, I can offer fully fledged mock interviews to acquaint applicants with the sort of questions they might encounter; or I can answer questions and give information on life at Oxbridge.

My profile currently says that I am unavailable - if you have a particularly pressing need, drop me a line nonetheless and I'll see if I can help.
