Degree: Modern Foreign Languages (Bachelors) - Durham University
I am an enthusiastic student at Durham University currently studying French, German and Beginners Russian.
Having spent much time in France and Germany, I have picked up an excellent command of both languages, being able to offer tutoring in most areas of the language, from Oral practise, to grammar, to writing and reading, so every tutorial can be specifically designed for whatever area of the language is wished to be focused upon.
In order to encourage and improve general conversation, I aim to switch between both languages in order to familiarise students with using the other languages more frequently, looking at more complex structures for those more able to do so in order to achieve the best result possible.
Due to the fact that I am just a few years older than most students, I am able to offer a current and perhaps more relatable and up to date insight into French and German culture through films, books and music, skills which are essential and interesting when looking further into a language.
I am familiar with the WJEC exam board for French and German A Level, but still have a general knowledge of all topics which come up in all the UK Exam Boards. I am however still avaliable to help in any problems being experienced and for general oral practise.
I am generally avaliable from 6-9 pm Monday to Friday and 12-7 pm Saturday and Sunday.
I am extremely enthuastic about languages and look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with other possible students.
I look forward to hearing from you!
